Sadly Forrest J. Ackerman, Uncle Forry to most, is suffering from a serious bout of pneumonia and may not survive much longer.
Without his love for all things science fiction and horror there would never be a FAMOUS MONSTER MAGAZINE and all of the groovy things that were derived from it decades later including this blog. He lived life like a true film geek should and became such a great historian helping us keep the memories of old school horror and sci-fi alive. He will be greatly missed.
