I AM EITHER A HUGE FAN OF THE GENRE OR I HAVE WASTED YEARS OF MY LIFE

So there is this top 50 Horror films list that is spreading from one blog to the next like a bad virus and I thought that I would prod this Ebola monkey of a list here as well as share my thoughts on it.

First off, the titles in bold are the films on the list way below are titles I have yet to have seen. Three titles in all that have been unseen by my very own eyes. The remaining 47 are films that I have seen throughout the decades and man my first thought was that I really-really watch way too many movies. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

However, my second thought was how sorta hip and mainstream this list really is. There is not that much uniqueness to this list. It's a shame that this is all that most have seen and even voted on as being the best. What's even worse is the fact that this list came from the UK and there is no mention of any Hammer classics.

I might have to come up with a better list for all of your Schlockheads next week. In the meantime check out the "top 50" below and tell me what you think of it:
